I ordered tangerine chicken and wanton soup. Both were tasty and I'd eat again if some changes were made. The portions were large. I received a 50% off coupon from Uber Eats for this restaurant. I don't think for regular price I'd order from here again. I chose spice levels for both items and yet no spice was added to either. The tangerine chicken box taste was very much what I wanted and it contained a tangerine on top as well as cooked peels inside the food asking with other ingredients. I liked all of this but I found that there was a lot fried oily corn starch with no meat inside, I'd like more meat in the actual entree. I don't think I'd recommend Great Wall Chinese Restaurant.
The food here lives up to the many awards for Best Chinese Food. We've gone here for decades, and had moved away and came back, and it was every bit as good. We had cashew chicken and sesame beef. Tender, not overcooked, delicious.
This is simply bad Chinese not cooked very well. The noodles are the small little tiny noodles, not the big, thick wheat noodles that I’m used to the vegetables in chicken we’re missing in action a little here a little there in the hot and sour soup was just no flavor whatsoever. This place is not good Chinese I would skip it

The cream cheese wontons literally had like 1% cream cheese. Not worth the $$ Mediocre. Ordered fried rice. Over cooked. Mushy.
Very typical. Shrimp toast was fine but looked like over cooked chicken fingers. Not shrimp toast. Spare ribs dry and barely any meat. 3 out of 4 we were scraping our teeth on the bone to get any meat. The cream cheese wontons sucked. All wonton barely any cheese.
$70 for nothing. Wish we could get our $$ back.I did call.
Great Wall is the best Chinese restaurant in the Twin Cities. Their egg rolls with their homemade hot mustard sauce - amazing. Orders are always ready early.
Got vegetable fried rice and cream cheese wontons. Fried rice had no flavor, and frozen vegetables that were hard. No bean sprout, no onion, no pea pods or anything resembling something fresh. Cream cheese wontons were mostly wonton, and a miniscule dab of cream cheese. The dipping sauce had a vague Kool-aid flavor. Sad cause it is so close to my work. Tried it, won't be back.
